It's been in the works for a while, but with the little mysterious ad on FWA, the panel at SXSWi this past Sunday, a press release from founding sponsor-partner Adobe and now full circuit press, SoDA is having one hell of a launch: the latest great interview comes from Creativity Online.
With the mission of educating and solving industry issues and hot topics such as scope-creep, stop/go project timelines, standards and innovation, SoDA's momentum is only starting.
SoDA is chaired by Richard Lent, CEO of AgencyNet (full disclosure: my employer) and the group's Project Manager is Stephen Kennedy, formerly of Midland Futures, a margin insurance company. Membership is currently on an invite-only basis, but the founders say they'll consider many different types of shops, from large firms to smaller design and production shops.

Congratulations to Rich (again, he's my boss) and group on getting this started. It's certainly exciting to see where this will take the industry!
